Help us create this community! We want to hear from you.
We have designed a survey to gather feedback and help guide the planning of Harvest Roaring Fork, a mixed-use conservation community in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley.
Your answers will help us design and build a community that better serves the people in the Roaring Fork Valley. The survey should take 3 to 5 minutes to complete.
We greatly appreciate your time and input.
A 283-acre conservation community in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley.
The historic Union 76 barn was demolished in 2005 by a previous landowner.
Located between Carbondale and Glenwood Springs, Harvest Roaring Fork has over one-mile of frontage on the Roaring Fork River, one-mile of frontage on Highway 82, and the renowned Rio Grande Trail system running through it.
Harvest Roaring Fork, formerly known as Sanders Ranch and later Bair Chase, has a history marked by several changes in ownership. Originally a ranch owned by Clyde Chase and later Elmer Bair, the site saw plans for substantial housing and commercial space in the 1990s and 2000s. Grading for a golf course community in 2005 led to the removal of topsoil and impacted local wildlife. During the golf course grading, the historic red barn was demolished.
Realty Capital is a renowned mixed-use developer in the western United States. With Harvest Roaring Fork, our goal is to create a work force housing community people love. We value your feedback to help bring this project to life.

As stewards of the land, we must balance development with preservation. This means making thoughtful choices about how we use our land, whether it's for agriculture, urban development, or conservation. It's vital that we work with nature, ensuring that we find a balance to create a community, protect biodiversity, and maintain the delicate ecosystems that have called this land home long before our involvement.
At Realty Capital, we’ve always believed in making a positive impact wherever we can, and land stewardship is no exception. By engaging communities, promoting sustainable practices, and working with wildlife experts, we can create an economy that thrives while valuing the natural world around us. Together, we can lead the way in responsible land management, proving that it’s not just about what we take from the earth, but also what we give back. Let’s create a legacy of stewardship that inspires others to do the same!
